About the Role
We have an opportunity available for an experienced neonatal nurse looking to progress into a senior clinical nursing role. This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly skilled, dynamic and supportive multi-disciplinary team. The senior leadership team within Child health see this as a development opportunity to enhance and build on existing skills preparing you for the future.
The role provides specialist nursing care, support and advice, both in hospital, remotely, in the homes of babies and children with chronic and/or complex medical conditions. The CNS also provides specialist nursing information, support and education to a variety of health care professionals to enable the child to be cared for at home.

About the Team/Service
We are a 41 bed unit that comprises of level 1, 2 & 3 beds. The role supports NICU in taking responsibility for safe and effective management of resources, and ensures the delivery of excellent patient care.

About you
Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:
Minimum 4 years Neonatal/Paediatric experience
Experience caring for children with complex chronic health needs
A current annual practicing certificate
A current full drivers licence
Proven leadership skills
Expert communication skills
Post Graduate certificate/diploma
