Clinical Quality and Compliance Officer | Based in the Illawarra and Bundanoon regions with travel to all Warrigal locations when required.

Most of us want to do work that matters. But building a meaningful career isn’t always easy, many people find themselves in demanding roles that leave little room for purpose.

At Warrigal, we offer something different: a chance to make a real impact in the lives of older people and their families.

For us, there’s no greater honour. When we bring joy and quality of life to older people, we give them the dignity, community, and belonging they deserve. We allow them to enjoy better quality time and build lasting memories with their families, and we create a society that celebrates and respects aging.

No matter your role at Warrigal, each one of us is contributing to this legacy, ensuring it’s passed down from generation to generation.

The opportunity

In this role, you will support the delivery of Warrigal’s quality and compliance program to meet the Aged Care Quality Standards across multiple locations, including the Illawarra and Southern Highlands with travel to Queanbeyan, and the ACT when required. You will conduct internal audits, review policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards. You will also contribute to risk-based planning, prepare audit reports with recommendations for improvement, and track the implementation of audit findings. Additionally, you will collaborate with management to resolve issues, assist in the development of an audit training program, and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders. You will support Warrigal’s continuous improvement initiatives, ensure accurate and timely documentation, and contribute to the review of policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned by the Operational Quality and Compliance Manager.
