Job Overview
The Magistrates' Court of Victoria is seeking a skilled Clinical Advisor to join their team. The successful candidate will provide clinical advice, treatment, and referral services for the Drug Court and its participants.
Responsibilities include assessing potential participants referred to the Drug Court, developing individual treatment plans, and providing expert advice to the Court on psychosocial history and substance use.
The Clinical Advisor will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including court staff, judiciary, community organisations, drug treatment agencies, peer agencies, and other Victorian Government Departments and Non-Government Organisations.
To be successful in this role, you will have exceptional communication and organisational skills, demonstrated experience working with AoD and mental health clients, and a sound application of treatment pathways.
A tertiary qualification in health, social work, welfare or related field with emphasis in AOD specifically is required.
This is a vital role within the Magistrates' Court of Victoria, contributing to the development and progress of the Drug Court program.
