Position Overview
We are currently seeking a passionate and self-motivated CNC Machine Tool Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving our sales efforts in Western Massachusetts and beyond. You will be supported by our Technical Center, which includes Applications, Automation, Inside Sales, and Service teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and nurture relationships with new customers while maintaining our existing client base.
• Create actionable plans to explore new markets and enhance customer engagement, aiming to exceed annual sales targets.
• Monitor sales forecasts and profit margins, making necessary adjustments to align with company goals.
• Coordinate product demonstrations at our Technical center to showcase our offerings.
• Build strong, professional relationships within the industry to anticipate and address client needs.
• Maintain consistent communication with your Territory Sales Manager.
• Engage in active cold calling through phone and in-person visits.
• Keep our CRM updated with contacts, accounts, opportunities, and quotes.
• Promote our products and services on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Participate actively in industry trade associations.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business, or a related field, with 4-6 years of experience in a similar role.
• At least five years of successful sales experience in machine tools, industrial, or capital equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a professional demeanor.
• Strong relationship-building abilities and a solid customer base.
• Exceptional tracking and follow-up skills.
• Highly organized and capable of managing time effectively under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate successfully in a team-focused environment.
Preferred Skills
• Understanding of CNC machining, including complex milling/turning and EDM processes.
• Knowledge of CMM inspection equipment and metrology practices.
Compensation:
$150,000-$250,000 per year
