About Job

We are looking for a skilled Commercial Counsel with a minimum of 5 years of legal experience to join our dynamic legal team. This role will primarily focus on vendor contract review and negotiation, with additional responsibilities for commercial customer contracts and NDAs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our business operations while ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation.

Skills & Qualification
• Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law
• Prior experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation
• Experience with vendor management and commercial contracts preferred
• Legal Knowledge
• Strong understanding of contract law and commercial regulations
• Knowledge of technology and service agreements
• Understanding of data protection and privacy laws
• Familiarity with employment law is advantageous

• Review, draft, and negotiate vendor contracts across various categories including technology, professional services, and operational agreements
• Prepare and review Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) for various business purposes
• Maintain contract templates and standard terms to streamline processes
• Legal Advisory
• Provide practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on commercial matters
• Identify and assess legal risks in business transactions and propose mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, sales, and operations
• Support business initiatives with legal guidance and documentation
• Compliance and Risk Management
• Ensure contract terms comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Monitor changes in relevant legislation and advise on impact to business operations
• Maintain comprehensive contract records and management systems
• Assist in developing and updating company policies and procedures
• Stakeholder Management
• Build and maintain relationships with internal business partners
• Communicate complex legal concepts in clear, business-friendly language
• Coordinate with external counsel when required
