The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Contract Law and will be responsible for handling all aspects of commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a strong focus on Contract Law
Must be licensed to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar
Proven track record of successfully managing litigation cases from inception to resolution
Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes in the best interest of the client
Excellent legal research and writing skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court officials
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Strong commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality

Responsibilities
As a Commercial Litigation Attorney, your key duties will include
Representing clients in all stages of business disputes, from fact-finding and case analysis to negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation
Drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents, ensuring they comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements
Conducting thorough legal research to stay updated on current laws and interpret them for use in legal proceedings
Providing sound legal advice to clients, presenting case strategies, and discussing potential outcomes
Managing all aspects of the litigation process including pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal
Building relationships with clients and working closely with them to understand their business operations and needs
Collaborating with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the smooth running of the legal process
