Job Description
Duties of this position will include but are not limited to:
Provide a forum to promote Australia Day, exchange ideas and discuss best practice.
Plan, organise and execute local arrangements for Australia Day with input from the community via the community committee.
Assist in the on-ground delivery of the Australia Day events including the Awards Ceremony.
Promote Australia Day activities and awards across the region.
Seek funding and sponsorship from interested parties to assist in delivering events that have high participation from the whole community.
What you will need to succeed:
Understanding of the role of the committee and details that you consider to be relevant to the Committee
Demonstrated involvement with community networks and/or events
Live in the Local Government Area
