ABOUT THE ROLE
Full Time Fixed Term - 12-month opportunity
Band 5 Salary: $76,871 per annum plus 11.5% Superannuation

We are looking for a Communications Officer to join our dynamic and supportive team for a 12-month period.
In this varied and rewarding role, you will:
Write and edit content for media releases, speeches, newsletters, and digital platforms.
Assist in the development and design of marketing materials and promotional campaigns.
Bring strong writing skills, creativity, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Experience in graphic design and/or digital communications is an advantage.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful you will:
Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Digital or equivalent relevant work experience.
Ability to build effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to write clearly and concisely for a variety of audiences.
Excellent attention to detail with a proven ability to set goals and manage competing tasks effectively.
Ability to show initiative and demonstrate sound judgement and political awareness when addressing issues.
Ability to contribute and play a part in the success of a small high performing team.
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office. Adobe Design experience desirable. Website content experience desirable.
