Job Description
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing medication management services across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service. This includes working in inpatient units, outpatient clinics and facilities where medicines are being utilised for patient care.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and dispense pharmaceuticals under direct supervision
Assist with inventory management and collation of pharmacy data
Liaise with team members, hospital staff and patients to ensure effective communication
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or an international equivalent. You must also possess a certificate of competency in 'HLPTHA001 - Maintain Pharmaceutical Imprest' module as part of a Certificate III in Hospital Pharmacy.
