This full-time position is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about best practice compliance to join the West Tamar Council Development Services Team.

The Role
The purpose of this role is to assist with the compliance functions of the Development Services department of Council by conducting quality investigations, inspections and research for unauthorised building and development within the West Tamar municipality.
In this role, you will report to our Development Compliance Coordinator and be part of an inclusive and professional team.
About You
We are looking for someone who brings:
Experience in administering Local Government regulatory processes; or Certificate IV in Local Government (Statutory Compliance/ Government Investigations) otherwise willing to undertake the qualification.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including an aptitude for negotiation and conflict resolution;
Evidence based decision making skills, demonstrated good judgment and outcomes focused;
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and autonomously;
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
A current drivers licence.
You will be rewarded with a salary ranging from $70,224 - $73,871 + employer super up to 15%, a nine-day fortnight & no debit – no credit personal leave
