Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Compliance Specialist to oversee all compliance and training documentation for our home-to-school transportation contracts across York Region, Simcoe County, and the Toronto District School Board (TDSB).

This role is critical in ensuring all regulatory, contractual, and internal compliance requirements are met and maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain all driver training and compliance files
Ensure all documentation meets Ministry, board, and company requirements
Track expiries and ensure all certifications are up to date
Create and maintain detailed spreadsheets and tracking systems using Excel
Conduct file audits and identify gaps or deficiencies
Work closely with Safety, Operations, and HR teams
Support audits by school boards and regulatory bodies
Ensure quick turnaround on documentation requests and deadlines
Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory)
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
Experience in compliance, administration, or transportation (preferred)
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Customer service mindset with professional communication skills
