Job Description
Salary: 75-85K per annum
Location: Remote with occasional travel to Kettering OR York
What you'll be doing
• Management, mentoring and development of a team of Professional Services and Project Management Consultants and associated support staff.
• Ensuring the well-being of Consultancy Team and providing support where required
• Work with our management teams to ensure we are delivering services as cost effective as possible
• Setting strategy and executing against agreed goals
• Defining training requirements based on future pipeline as agreed with the Solutions Team
• Ensuring the correct resource is utilised in the most effective manner across the projects to be delivered
• Supporting with the selection and management of third-party resources involved in the delivery of projects
• Manage customer and partner escalations when raised. Ensure the outcome of the escalation meets the customer / partner expectation and is also agreed with the Consultant where required
• Reporting and presenting
• Supporting on client engagements where required
• Perform Consultancy work up to 50% of the billable week initially with a view to reducing this depending on the management requirements
• RFP/ITT/RFI/SOW/HLD/LLD peer review and occasionally contributing
• Working with solution architecture on designing solutions / architecture / designing packaged services
• Working with internal senior stakeholders
• Working with key vendors to ensure the Consultancy Team have access to the latest releases and features of the vendors' products
• Ensuring the Consultancy Team have the correct vendor accreditations as agreed with both the Solutions Team and Partner Management
• Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks as directed by Line Manager
• Undertake any other ad hoc duties as required, which are deemed necessary to assist with the needs of the company
Requirements
• 5+ years working as a billable Senior Consultant, preferably for a Managed Service Provider
• 5+ years people management experience
• Proven ability to mentor and develop a team
• Strong work prioritisation skills
• Strong documentation skills
• Setting strategy and executing on these and ensuring they are suitably targeted and reported on
