About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Child Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of evidence-informed, high-quality specialist mental health services to the community-based CAMHS population.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Leading a multidisciplinary team across one or more sites, serving infants, children, young people, and their families.
Providing high-level consultation, psychiatric assessments, and therapeutic services as needed.
Sharing accountability with the service manager and Clinical Coordinators for outcomes of multidisciplinary clinical practice.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Fellowship of Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent.
Registrable as a Psychiatrist with the Australian Health Practitioners Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated clinical excellence in the specialty of child psychiatry.
