We are partnering with a fast-growing scientific media company that has a global reach, seeking to add a new Content Editor to their publishing team to drive audience and content development.
The company publishes a diverse array of multi-format content for the scientific community near Bath, with flexible working arrangements available, including interactive digital platforms, video interviews with award-winning scientists, new product reviews, and much more.
The Content Editor will collaborate with the sales team and client services, focusing on audience development and timely content delivery, aiming to meet KPIs and boost engagement on a recently launched website. Responsibilities include promoting the business, engaging with scientists and manufacturers, and monitoring downloadable content with quarterly engagement reports.
Main Responsibilities:
• Growing and nurturing the target audience
• Building new industry relationships
• Ensuring created content meets key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Supporting social media activities to enhance brand presence
• Monitoring and reporting on downloadable content analytics monthly and quarterly
• Assisting the sales team through calls and sponsor meetings
• Attending industry events to develop contacts, partnerships, and collaborations
The role involves creating targeted content, writing, editing, and proofreading content to engage the scientific community. The ideal candidate will work closely with technical experts to produce high-quality content.
The successful Content Editor will have excellent writing and communication skills, be able to create engaging content, and work effectively in a team environment. We estimate the salary range for this position to be £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
