Job Description
Title: Content Writer and Editor
Location: Sheffield
Reports to: Team Manager
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
(Mon-Fri +am to 5pm)

Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and draft content for our content platforms such as blogs, websites, social media, e-books, etc.
Ownership and development of Messaging wheelhouse and TOV (tone of voice)
Contribute towards making and implementing the monthly content calendar.
Scripting and management of all outbound customer communications (email and SMS)
Update and maintain website content regularly
Support the CMO in drafting articles for publishing in the media, drafting press releases, press announcements, etc
Draft content to make product demo videos.
Follow and implement best techniques for content optimization such as using highly relevant keywords, etc. (SEO)
Draft copy for user engagement, communication, education and marketing activities
Working with and gaining compliance sign off for copy before release
Work with the relevant concerned people across departments to collect needed information
Work with the concerned teams to make content marketing ideas to promote content
Select and draft content for sales materials such as handouts, brochures, leaflets, etc.
Tracking and reporting the optimisation of copy / impact of copy in search or social media
Skills & Experience Required
Great overall skills in writing content in different styles with a natural ability to create engaging copy
Experience with the creation and management of marketing calendar – themes by month
Experience with a CMS tool to manage website pages and blogs
Experience with Facebook and LinkedIn for organic posting and company page management
Experience with customer journeys and content (email and SMS)
Strong SEO / keyword placement techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fluent English, spoken and written
Detail-Oriented
2-4 years of writing experience
Prioritising and managing deadlines effectively
Experience with near analytics
Comfortable writing on B2C finance segment
Ability to work well with individuals and teams
