Our Opportunity
As a Contract Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial, contractual and financial administration of construction activities across major projects. Working closely with project leaders, you will ensure procurement, subcontract administration, head contract obligations, reporting and cost management are executed with accuracy and alignment.
You will be instrumental in maintaining strong commercial outcomes and ensuring teams operate cohesively and effectively throughout all project phases.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Preparing and managing tender packages, shortlists and tender comparisons
Issuing tender documents, coordinating tender meetings and conducting interviews with bidders
Compiling contract documentation and ensuring timely execution of all agreements
Maintaining procurement programs, schedules and tracking tools to support delivery success
Supporting head contract administration including notices, variations, EOTs and progress claims
Liaising with clients, QS, legal advisors and key stakeholders to ensure commercial clarity
Assisting with forecasting, cost control, financial risk analysis and monthly reporting
Managing subcontractor scopes, security, variations, progress claims and deeds of release
Maintaining schedules of rates, warranties, subcontractor data and insurances
Your Point of Difference
You are a detail‑focused, commercially astute construction professional who thrives in dynamic environments. You enjoy solving complex contractual challenges, building strong relationships, and ensuring clarity and alignment across all project stakeholders.
You will also have:
3+ years’ experience as a Contract Administrator on complex construction projects
Degree qualifications in construction, engineering, QS or a related discipline
Experience working on large‑scale building projects ($80M+)
Strong commercial, contractual and financial acumen
Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder engagement capabilities
Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency across MS Office
Sound understanding of subcontract and head contract legal requirements
