We’re currently seeking a Finance Controller to join our team and take charge of managing the daily operations of our accounting team. This is a high-impact role, allowing you to work closely with both executive leadership and production teams as we continue our impressive growth.
Duties:
Prepare monthly financial reports
Present financial results to management team and company ownership
Work with the management team to develop forecasts and budgets
Prepare, analyze, and present monthly operating results to management and the operations team, addressing any areas for improvement
Establish and institute internal controls
Oversee month-end close process
Keep the general ledger up to date
Manage the accounting team and functions, including AP/AR and General Ledger
Maintain cost data and report cost information to management
Prepare consolidations
Assist with special projects as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred with at least 2-5 years of experience in a lead accounting role
Experience working in a manufacturing organization or public accounting experience with manufacturing organizations
Experience with cost accounting and general ledger management
Strong knowledge of inventory accounting
Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems
Experience with accounting standards, best practices, internal controls, and GAAP
Self-starter with the ability to work at a management level
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
