About the client: A Niche Corporate Law Firm, specialising in mixed commercial work encompassing various sectors/areas. Their clientele includes global corporations and high-net-worth individuals, making work both diverse and of the highest quality. With a reputation for handling high-profile cases and significant insolvency work involving esteemed FTSE 100 firms, they are committed to delivering exceptional legal services.
You will play a crucial role in managing a varied workload. Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount in this role, as you will be involved in drafting legal correspondence, conducting legal research, and reviewing complex documentation. Your responsibilities will also include drafting legal agreements such as Franchise Agreements, Asset Purchase Agreements, and Share Purchase Agreements, as well as providing initial opinions and advice on legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
• Drafting letters and email correspondence to counterparties.
• Conducting legal research and reviewing legislation.
• Reviewing shareholder agreements and Companies House documentation.
• Drafting legal agreements including indemnities and purchase agreements.
• Providing initial opinions and advice on legal matters.
• Assisting in corporate restructuring and commercial litigation matters.
• Managing fixed-charge receivership sales on behalf of lenders.
Requirements
• Qualified solicitor with experience in corporate law or desire to move into this area.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ambitious mindset with a desire to contribute to the growth of the firm.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
