DESCRIPTION
Do you enjoy being the trusted advisor who helps product teams navigate uncharted territory? Join Amazon's Shopping Legal team as Corporate Counsel, where you'll serve as the go-to legal partner for teams building advance AI models and search experiences.
Key job responsibilities
• Support business leaders as lead counsel on product decisions
• Counsel on regulatory matters
• Provide day-to-day, customer-focused advice
• Handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries
• Occasional travel will be required.
A day in the life
You'll start your day reviewing product roadmaps with engineering teams, advising on privacy implications of new AI features. Mid-morning might bring a cross-functional meeting where you're building frameworks for novel legal questions—there's rarely a playbook, so your judgment matters. Afternoons often involve drafting guidance that translates complex regulatory requirements into actionable advice for product teams. You'll field questions ranging from data handling practices to customer-facing feature launches, serving as the trusted advisor who helps teams move fast while managing risk thoughtfully.
