Job Description

Join a busy and highly regarded boutique legal practice in downtown Vancouver as a Legal Administrative Assistant, where you’ll play a key role in supporting corporate transactional work from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on legal work, thrives in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment, and values being part of a collaborative, high-performing team.

About Our Client
Our client is a highly regarded Business Law and Entertainment firm based in downtown Vancouver. The firm is recognized for delivering practical, business-oriented legal advice and for working closely with clients to help them build and grow successful ventures.

The firm works with a diverse range of entrepreneurial and organizational clients, from startups to established businesses, and takes pride in being a trusted advisor throughout their growth. The culture is collaborative, professional, and personable, with a shared commitment to high-quality work and enjoying the process along the way.

About The Opportunity
This is a strong opportunity for a junior Legal Administrative Assistant to build their career in corporate law within a boutique environment that offers hands-on experience and meaningful responsibility. The role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and wants to develop within a firm that values efficiency, initiative, and teamwork. A hybrid work model and balanced workload make this a manageable and sustainable role with room to grow.

About The Position
In this role, you will support two senior lawyers and one associate with a focus on corporate transactional matters, billing, and general legal administrative support. Responsibilities include file management, document preparation, coordinating closings, billing support, and client communication.

You will manage calendars, prepare and format legal documents, assist with trust and closing documentation, and handle billing tasks. The role also includes file opening/closing, administrative coordination, and occasional shared reception or team coverage. The lawyers you support are largely self-sufficient, resulting in a structured and manageable desk.
