Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Lawyer with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of expertise in handling NCLT matters, Negotiable Instruments Act, and SEBI compliance. The ideal candidate must possess bold and confident behavior, a strong legal acumen, and the ability to manage complex corporate legal matters efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent the company in National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) cases.
• Handle corporate disputes, insolvency, and restructuring cases.
• Handle cases involving dishonored cheques, promissory notes, and other negotiable instruments.
• Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations and filings, and manage compliance-related legal issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal notices.
• Manage legal disputes and represent the company in hearings and arbitrations.
• Provide expert advice on corporate governance, compliance, and legal risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless legal support for company operations.
Qualifications:
• LLB/LLM or a related field.
• Prior experience working with corporate law firms or legal departments in large organizations.
• Strong network within the legal fraternity, especially related to NCLT and financial matters.
