Job Title: Cost Accountant Budget: 8-10 lacs Per annum (Based on Experience) Location: Marol (Andheri) Qualification - Any
Purpose: Responsible for cost accounting activities, including product costing, variance analysis, inventory valuation, and financial reporting.
Industry type: Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain accurate product costs (materials, labor, overhead).
Perform variance analysis to identify cost deviations.
Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
Prepare cost reports, including cost of sales, inventory valuation, and production performance.
Maintain segment-wise profitability reports for each plant and brand.
Support budgeting, audits, and special projects.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Monitor Bill of Materials (BOM) and conduct profitability analysis in SAP.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ICWA certified/CA/CA drop out.
3-4 years of cost accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
