Sr. Officer/Asst. Manager - Cost Accountant
Macawber Beekay Pvt. Ltd. seeks a highly skilled and experienced cost accountant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Planning and Budgeting:
• Develop and implement plant budget and business planning activities in line with corporate policies and practices.
• Costing and Variance Analysis:
• Implement standard costing procedures in the manufacturing plant.
• Forecast raw material, manpower, conversion, and overall product costs.
• Analyze discrepancies in inventory valuation reports for raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods.
• Prepare overhead reports and analyze variances in raw material and components costs periodically.
• Cost Control and Reporting:
• Design and develop costing modules and dashboards up to component levels.
• Monitor and implement plant internal controls to ensure reporting integrity and safeguard company assets.
• Answer internal and external auditor requests during periodic audits.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Knowledge of standard costing, equipment/component costing, variance analysis, and ERP systems.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
• ICWA/CMA certification required.
• 5+ years of industrial experience in a manufacturing unit.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
• Self-starter and self-motivated with ability to work well in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in an engineering/manufacturing industry.
• Good understanding of inventory management and control.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
