Role Summary:
Role will be based in Ranipet and will report Senior Manager- Finance/Accounts.
Designation: Cost Analyst /Accountant
Key Responsibility:
• Manage Inventory/Cost Accounting
• Tracking of all BOM part code quantity and pricing
• Calculation of usage variance actual Vs BOM and investigation of abnormal variances
• Periodical review of Bill of Material
• Analysis of Price sanction form with RM Index and pricing and providing suggestions to approving authorities.
• Highlighting usage variance of raw material, consumables & utilities
• Analysis of Variances and providing suggestions/measures for improvement
• Consumption Report for Raw Materials (RMC)
• Analysis of Inventory trend for working capital management
• Identification of Slow & Non-moving Inventory & report to stores Dept for Corrective action.
• Defective Trend Analysis and Providing Suggestions for Scrap Reduction
• Reconciliation of Job workers Stock statement & calculation of usage variance
• Analyse variances and communicates explanations to management with recommended actions.
• Estimate product costs to support quoting activities.
• Analysis of all capital investments and providing suggestions to approving authorities.
• Maintenance of Fixed asset Register (FAR)
• Tracking and accounting capitalisation and ensure the accurate calculation of depreciation.
• Monthly Closing (Inventory & FA related GL entries)
• Analysis of Significant ledger accounts
• Ensure all accrual of expense are accounted in the same period of activity.
• Provide Month-wise Manufacturing OH comparison report (Division &dept wise BP Vs Actual)
• Detailed note for deviation/variation of business Plan
• Monitor and implement plant internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks.
Requirement:
• 2-5yrs of Exp in Auto Industry
• Passed out - CA/ICWAI
• Fluent in Tamil
• Self-driven and highly motivated
• Ability to work in an agile environment.
