Job Description
We are looking for Dy.Manager - Cost Controller
Location : Chennai
- Preparation of monthly planning and calculation of projects costs;
- Preparation of the periodical financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance to the Group-
required timeline;
- Inventory Management
- Calculation and cost reduction analysis (monthly, per project in collaboration with sourcing department)
including monitoring of savings.
- Key participation on the local yearly budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
- Support to the Finance Controller Manager in preparing reports for reviews with Group and Business Unit
management teams and in maintaining the financial metrics appropriate for the business.
- Analyse operating costs by nature and by project/action, and report trends, issues, improvements, etc.
- Maintain revenue / order plan in cooperation with Operations / Sales
- Cooperation with the Accounting team to ensure correct accounting practices and booking of revenues,
costs, assets and liabilities, as well as a smooth data consolidation.
- Support to the Finance Controller Manager on specific financial projects for NIS.
- Knowledge in Indian Tax will be an additional advantage.
Required qualifications:
- Semi-Qualified CA or CMA with + years of experience in FP&A.
- At least four years accounting experience in a manufacturing company possibly inside multinational
companies, or companies with complex organizational structures.
- Proved fluency in English.
- Proved advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, with main regard to MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP system is a plus.
- Strong accuracy on analytical details
- Ability to look at facts beyond numbers
- Ability to work in a team and to build effective peer-to-peer relationship.
- Ability to comply with deadlines and to finalize requested tasks, even in a complex context.
