Key Responsibilities
• Conduct needs assessments through interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Maintain accurate records of client sessions and progress in compliance with confidentiality policies.
• Collaborate with educational, medical, and community organizations to coordinate care.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health and available resources.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies as needed.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars on coping skills, stress management, and personal development.
• Monitor client progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary.
• Provide referrals to additional services when appropriate.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
• Stay informed about current trends and research in the field of counseling.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding mental health care.
• Develop community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness.
• Support clients in navigating life transitions and challenges.
Required Qualifications
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• State licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of mental health diagnostics and treatment modalities.
• Proven experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Awareness of cultural dynamics and sensitivity to diverse populations.
• Proficient in using digital tools for client management and reporting.
• Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and ethical standards governing counseling practice.
• Experienced in developing client-centered treatment plans.
• Familiarity with therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Flexibility in approach to accommodate individual client needs.
