Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial reports, draft budget reports, actual vs. budget analysis, carry out internal audits, and examine financial records or statements
• Ensure local, state, and federal laws and regulations are followed when creating financial records.
• Perform regular, detailed internal audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures and investments
• Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivable
• Perform regular business administration, and financial reporting, and keep all financial records, financial documents, and accounting systems up to date
• Establish accounting policies and procedures, strategic planning and organizational budget and help in planning for long-term financial goals
• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements
• Work closely with the M&A teams and analyze financial reports as part of due diligence process
Qualifications:
• BSc degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA certification ( master's degree in accounting or business administration is preferable)
• Certified Public Accountant
• Proven work experience as a Certified Public Accountant or Senior Accountant
• Advanced spreadsheet and MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
MUST HAVE:
• Experience with IT companies, preferably SaaS
• High comfort level working on Eastern Time Zone/US Shift
• Good internet access at home at least 25 MBPS
• Mobile Hotspot
• Laptop/Desktop of at least 16 GB
