• Setting a vision for how technology will be used in the company and how the projects will be delivered efficiently
• Oversee all aspects of the technology, including technical strategy, technology architecture, best practices & technology stacks
• Making executive decisions on behalf of the company's technological requirements
• Evaluates new technology and makes recommendations on technological solutions
• Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services & projects and ensure effective delivery within agreed cost and time
• Improve sprint delivery of each team by drafting and implementing efficient processes
• Managing the team including SME's, Developers, Testers and Technical Lead's and act as a mentor to team members
• Supervise system & network infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
• Deliver global domain infrastructure for efficiency
• Staying on top of technology trends and developments
• Makes presentations to board of directors and chief executive officer
• Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standard and deliver strong governance and standards projects e.g. ISO 27001
• Directs the development and possible implementation of policies including, IT strategy, Email Policy, information security policy, Disaster recovery, Data governance, BCP, etc.
• Team Management - Demonstrate the ability to build and motivate team members,resolving grievances/conflicts of the team, carry out annual appraisals, recruit and build a creative and efficient team, identify training needs,mentor and motivate the team
• Keeping Prod Dev team together and bind them together via Mission and Vision
• Work experience in Fintech will be an added advantage
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
• Master's degree in Computer Science from a reputed institution
• MBA with computer science degree is preferred.
• 15+ years working in a technological role
• 7+ years managerial experience
• Advanced technological skill set and a demonstrated history with technology
• Hands on experience on AzureDevOps, AWS, API stack, AI/ML, .Net stack and mobile platforms
• Exceptional team management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to delegate efficiently
• Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future and innovative technologies
