Job Description
Responsibilities include, however are not limited to:
Deliver high-quality support to clients, couriers, and internal teams, ensuring smooth receipt and dispatch of samples.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients; keep clear records of meetings and discussions.
Prepare or organise quotations and assist clients with enquiries about samples, turnaround times, and service status.
Monitor KPIs for Alexandria clients and work closely with team leaders to resolve issues before they impact service delivery.
Receive, sort, label, store, and repack samples, completing all required checks and registrations accurately.
Collect samples from client sites and conduct on-site sampling following approved procedures.
Use PPE correctly and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
A scientific qualification (Diploma or Tertiary), or minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience in an environmental laboratory or client services environment (preferred).
Ability to obtain certifications/work permits such as a white card or MSIC (if required).
Physically capable of handling samples (10–15kg) and comfortable being on your feet for extended periods.
Current driver’s licence with a good driving record.
