Position Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Facilitator with a knack for solving problems over the phone. The Maintenance Facilitator will manage and coordinate the maintenance division of our organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong customer service skills, the ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and staff, and be skilled in scheduling and estimating worker requirements. This role is essential in ensuring the timely completion of maintenance tasks and providing exceptional customer service to property owners and tenants.

There are many exciting components to this role, which include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
• Provide troubleshooting support to homeowners and field technicians over the phone, leveraging knowledge and expertise to diagnose and address maintenance issues, guiding our team and vendors to efficient solutions
• Conduct virtual assessments of properties to identify maintenance needs, prioritize tasks, and implement preventive maintenance plans
• Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues via phone or video calls
• Collaborate with field teams to ensure timely and accurate resolutions
• Provide clear and professional communication to clients and residents regarding maintenance concerns, updates, and resolutions
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and clients, adhering to strict time schedules.
• Ensure that all maintenance work meets the standards set by the Own Door and its clients.
• Oversee the maintenance process, including assigning work orders and scheduling maintenance actions.
• Manage the business's maintenance division, ensuring efficient operations.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to property owners and tenants.
• Follow up on work orders, completed work, and owner approvals.
• Coordinate referrals across different departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills, especially for remote diagnosis
• Tech-savvy, with the ability to utilize digital tools and platforms for virtual troubleshooting
• Knowledge of property management software and systems is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Proficient knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair with hands-on experience
• Knowledge of environmental or industrial hazards (i.e., asbestos, lead, mold, radon) as they apply to residential housing
• Ability to read and write English; speak English and understand spoken English
• Strong skills in preparing, writing, and communicating effectively with clients, vendors, and staff.
• Ability to schedule and estimate worker hours and requirements for task completion.
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
• Proven experience in home repair and maintenance

Working Hours:

Workdays: Employees work five days a week on a rotational schedule.

Shift Timings: Our working hours are synchronized with the US Pacific Time Zone.

Shift Duration: Each working shift spans a duration of + hours.
