JOB DESCRIPTION
• RESPONSIBLE TO MAINTAIN GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH EXISTING SHIPPERS, LINERS, S/LINES, CO-LOADERS AND OTHER RELATED VENDORS I.E. TRANSPORT COMPANIES, WAREHOUSING & STORAGE UNITS ETC
• FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EXECUTION OF EVERY SHIPMENT AND ALL THE RELATED WORK.
• MANAGING THE TEAM OF C/SUPPORT, DOCUMENTATION & FIELD OPERATIONS AND GIVE THEM PROPER DIRECTIONS TO EXECUTE THEIR DUTIES ON DAILY BASIS.
• HANDLING & RESOLVING MAJOR & MINOR SHIPMENT RELATED PROBLEMS..
• FREIGHT NEGOTIATION & SPECIAL PERMISSIONS FROM VARIOUS S/CARRIERS
• RESPONSIBLE TO MANAGE CONSOL BOXES AND GENERATE CARGO FOR THE SAME
• HANDLING NOMINATION SHIPMENTS
• SECURING BEST RATES FROM VARIOUS VENDORS I.E. TRANSPORTERS, SURVEYORS, WAREHOUSING & STORAGE UNITS ETC
• RESPONSIBLE FOR OUTSTANDING PAYMENT RECOVERY FROM SHIPPERS
• RESPONSIBLE FOR RECOVERY OF BROKERAGE & FAC
• ENSURING PROPER HANDLING OF THE SHIPMENT BY THE FIELD OPERATION STAFF
• REPORTING TO SENIORS ABOUT THE STATUS OF EVERY SHIPMENT ON DAILY BASIS.
PROFILE
• FLUENCY IN SPOKEN AND WRITTEN ENGLISH
• COMPUTER LITERACY (MS OFFICE / WINDOWS)
• QUICK & POSITIVE THINKER AND RESPONSIVE DECISION MAKER
• SHOULD BE ABLE TO THINK OUT OF BOX & FOCUS ON IN-HAND ISSUES
