From the moment you come on board, you'll be supported by the skilled Cyber & Risk team, allowing you to assist clients in realizing their vision while advancing your own career confidently.
Your daily responsibilities may involve:
• Leading the deployment of Microsoft Purview capabilities, such as:
• Information Protection & Sensitivity Labels
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Insider Risk Management
• eDiscovery and Compliance Manager
• Data Lifecycle and Records Management
• Helping clients align Microsoft Purview with essential regulatory frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and ISO 27001.
• Conducting assessments of existing data governance and compliance programs.
• Creating strategic roadmaps and implementation plans for Microsoft Purview adoption.
• Collaborating with client stakeholders to establish data classification, retention, and access policies.
• Facilitating the integration of Microsoft Purview with Microsoft 365, Azure, and third-party systems.
• Delivering impactful workshops and training sessions to enhance client team knowledge on Microsoft compliance tools.
• Participating in knowledge sharing and client proposal initiatives.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications such as SC-400, CIPP, CIPM, CISSP, CISM, or similar.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in cybersecurity, data governance, or compliance consulting.
• Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 compliance solutions.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and risk management frameworks.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot for Compliance and AI-driven governance tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to business stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
You will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, requiring in-person attendance three days a week at either a Grant Thornton office or client site, enabling you to maximize both your professional engagement and personal well-being.
Salary Range: The base salary for this position is between $144,000 and $216,000 in Chicago, IL, and between $155,500 and $233,300 in New York, NY.
