We are looking for an experienced and qualified lawyer for the role of analyst – product innovation and legal services, who can extract, analyze, interpret, standardize, structure and automate legal and non-legal documents of entities accessing capital and financial markets.
How is the career path? An academically inclined person who is willing to upskill and cross-skill and grow as a client facing professional having ability to read, interpret, comprehend, summarize and simplify the legal documents such as loan/ credit or bond agreements.
What are the responsibilities? A lawyer by background who can also work as business analyst on product development and innovation by providing an active support through client deliveries like defining and simplifying the terms and conditions of an agreement. Ability to scale up along-with the growth of client base and products. Ability to contribute to white papers independently and also support, edit and extend valuable suggestions while reviewing publications of peers and colleagues irrespective of hierarchy and seniority.
What will be the regular tasks? Hands-on in areas of legal data interpretation, creation of taxonomies and templates, ability to present and document new developments, ability to comprehend and structure new transitions and give it a template structure, ability to compare and bring synergies between different existing frameworks, knowledge of terminologies on different legal agreements of loan and bond agreement, prospectus, DRHP, basic understanding of accounting and standard line items, liking for new reporting and disclosure structures and ability to create innovative and comprehensible standards and formats.
Qualifications – Graduation or Post graduation like - LLB, BA-LLB, Masters in Law.
Expectations – Ability to work both independently and also as a team player depending on the project or assignment. Should have the proactive approach to update the milestones and key performance indicators along-with tangible data driven approach and measurable inputs. Strong adherence to culture & conduct. Corporate event participations including town halls and annual company events. Master of legal acronyms and jargons but also comes with an ability to present and simplify for a non-expert. Knowledge of various legal websites like Thomson Reuters Practical law, Law.com & Law Insider etc. will be a plus.
