What You'll Do:
Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.
Evaluating existing data systems.
Working with business representatives, and development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.
Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.
Updating and optimizing local and metadata models.
Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.
Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Library Science, or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with logical and physical data modeling.
Working knowledge of data management industry best practices such as DAMA DMBOK, CMMI DMM, EDM Council DCAM.
At least 1 years of hands-on data governance experience.
Competent with data modeling tools, e.g. Idera ER/Studio or Power Designer.
Solid Relational database design experience and skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role, in Loveland, CO is between $105,300-$180,500, and in Deerfield, IL is between $100,400-$172,000. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition, we have a retirement program that encourages our employees to save for the longer term, with generous matching employer contributions. In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
