Role - Databricks Architect
Years of Experience - 5 to 15 years
Location - Pan India
• 10+ years of overall experience in architecting and building data and analytics solutions, including at least one Databricks implementation
• Proven experience in Apache Spark and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Strong background in designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes, data lakes, and data warehouses Hands-on experience with Spark SQL, Delta Lake, Lakeflow Spark Declarative Pipelines and Unity Catalog
• Strong knowledge and experience on building D&A solutions with Medallion architecture
• Experienced in analysis, design and data modelling
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, ARM templates)
• Working knowledge of Unity Catalog
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Experienced in working in a customer-facing role
• Databricks certifications are preferred
• Responsibility
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable data lakehouse architectures on Databricks
• Lead the migration and modernization of legacy data systems to Databricks
• Optimize data workflows for performance, cost, and scalability in cloud environments
• Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and compliance within the Databricks ecosystem
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts
• Develop and maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and best practices
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve data architecture strategies.
