The Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Civil Litigation Attorney to join our team in San Francisco, CA. This role requires a strong background in CA Civil Litigation, with a proven track record of drafting and arguing motions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of case management and client representation, including drafting and filing motions, preparing for and attending court trials, conducting depositions, and providing expert legal counsel to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and file motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
Represent clients in trial, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations.
Update clients and/or their insurers on case progress.
Provide expert legal advice to clients.
Manage day-to-day litigation tasks efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Prior CA Civil Litigation experience is mandatory.
A proven track record of drafting and arguing motions is essential.
The ability to effectively navigate the court system is crucial.
Skilled in conducting depositions and witness examinations.
Superior written and verbal communication abilities are required.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are necessary.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Active membership in the California State Bar is required.
Experience in construction or casualty claims is highly valued.
