The ideal candidates must have a proven track record of transforming at least 4 Core Banking systems in the past 10-12 years, with a focus on delivering business outcomes in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. As a Senior Program Director, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end program delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and managing cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results. This role demands exceptional leadership, deep domain expertise in Wholesale Banking, and a strong ability to manage complex transformation initiatives.ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership:Lead and manage large-scale Wholesale Banking transformation programs, including core banking modernization, process reengineering, and digital initiatives.Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals.Strategic Planning and Execution:Develop and execute comprehensive program roadmaps and strategies.Ensure alignment with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.Monitor and report on program progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.Stakeholder Management:Collaborate with executive leadership, product teams, technology partners, and external vendors.Build strong relationships with clients, regulators, and other key stakeholders.Risk Management:Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle.Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards during transformation initiatives.Team Leadership and Mentoring:Lead cross-functional teams, including internal and external resources, to deliver program goals.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Mentor junior program managers and other team members.QualificationsMBA or equivalent advanced degree. Certifications such as PMP or equivalent. Experience in large technology or consulting firms specializing in financial services transformation.Required SkillsMinimum of 20+ years of professional experience with a strong focus on Core Banking transformations.Successfully led the end-to-end transformation of at least 4 Core Banking systems over the last 10-12 years, preferably in Wholesale Banking.Experience managing multi-country implementations, including handling complex stakeholder landscapes.Preferred SkillsDomain Expertise:Deep understanding of Wholesale Banking, including trade finance, payments, liquidity management, and cash management.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and emerging trends in financial services.Program Management Skills:Proven ability to manage programs with budgets exceeding $50M.Expertise in program governance, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Technical Proficiency:Knowledge of modern Core Banking platforms and technologies, including cloud-based systems, APIs, and AI-driven solutions.Familiarity with methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, and DevOps is a plus.Leadership Skills:Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead large, diverse teams across geographies.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
