Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to oversee daily operations within a dental office setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, experience with electronic medical records, and familiarity with medical and dental terminology. This role involves managing office workflows, supporting human resources functions, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The Administrator will play a vital role in maintaining efficient office operations and providing exceptional support to staff and patients alike.
Duties
Manage patient records using electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
Coordinate scheduling, billing, and administrative tasks to streamline office operations.
Support human resources activities including staff scheduling, onboarding, and training.
Oversee office supplies inventory and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
Assist with budgeting processes and financial record keeping.
Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with medical or dental professionals to facilitate smooth clinic operations.
Handle patient inquiries, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communications.
Support the implementation of new office procedures or technology upgrades.
Experience
Prior experience in a dental office environment is essential.
Proficiency with Abeldentor similar electronic medical records software is essential.
Knowledge of medical terminology, hospital procedures, nursing practices, and acute care settings is advantageous.
Demonstrated experience in human resources management or supervising staff is desirable.
Background in dental assiting healthcare facilities or clinics is a plus.
Familiarity with dental administrative processes will be beneficial.
