Role & responsibilities
• HR Planning & Budgeting - Align the HR plan with the Business Strategy, direct and ensure the preparation of HR & IR budgets in line with the Business P&B
• Active partner in leadership team Ensure policies and initiatives defined at corporate and region/ cluster get implemented in the unit.
• Manpower Planning and Recruitment - Review the organization structures from time to time and ensure completion of organization restructuring as and when required based on Businessobjectives.
• Plan for Recruitment based on approved structure and manpower plan. Ensure timely staffing of vacancies.
• Compensation Management - Ensure alignment of compensation structure by maintaining internal & external pay equity within corporate guidelines. Recommend for appropriate compensation changes and ensure implementation of new benefits.
• Talent Management and Employee Development - Oversee implementation of talent management processes and ensure development of employees through effective training and plan career growth of the identified Talent within the framework.
• Training and Development Prepare the framework to identify, recommend and conduct programs intended to aid individuals and groups to increase productivity. Monitor the process and align with the objective of learning and development
• Performance Management - Ensure facilitation of KRA & Goal setting for all employees, timely and effective completion of the Midyear review and Annual appraisal, oversee normalization of performance ratings and plan and implement Reward and Recognition programs.
• Employee Relations - Ensure healthy and harmonious Industrial relations for smooth functioning with the Trade Unions. Maintain a sound grievance handling mechanism and ensure timely redressal of grievances.
• Employee benefits - Monitor activities like payroll and employee benefits like pensions, statutory benefits, retention bonuses, medical coverage are executed in a timely manner.
• Policy/ Practice Implementation - Formulate plans for employee discipline policies. Review policies and make need-based changes for the best interest of the organization.
• Employee Engagement & Culture Building - Plan and implement employee engagement activities in partnership with the Corporate HR team. Plan and implement talent retention activities mentoring programs and others. Drive business and unit-level employee engagement interventions; conduct surveys and/or FGDs for gauging the Voice of Employees.
• CSR Activity - Work with local communities to identify relevant action areas, define/ review the CSR agenda, and drive execution, ensuring alignment with larger Group philosophy. Plan annual CSR activities, ensuring alignment to budgets and relevant regulatory/ legal requirements; review timely and effective execution.
• • People Management - Develop and nurture quality talent within the team. Provide feedback on performance and coach to support their development.
Preferred candidate profile
• MBA HR/IR from a Prestigious Institute
• 14-15 Years of Exp in a Manufacturing, FMCG or Pharma Setup
• Good understanding of industrial relations,Labour Laws & Human Resource practices
• Attention to detail of highest order
• Excelling Presentation SKills
• Strong Leadership Acumen,
