Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a lawyer for the position of Associate at Goldmount Advisors. The candidate will need to have 2-3 years post qualification experience and will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks including legal research, drafting and reviewing documents, and assisting with client meetings and negotiations.
The role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, real estate and relevant practice areas
• Experience in drafting and reviewing complex legal documents
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• LLB degree with 2-3 years PQE
• Bar admission in India
Relevant skills and qualifications in media & entertainment, commercial contracts, and real estate are considered beneficial.

Job description
• Provide expert support in the smooth running of the Compliance Program in both the domestic & international subsidiaries
• Actively promote employee awareness of the Compliance & ethics.
• Develop, distribute and/or deliver effective training and communications in support of the Program.
• Responsible for maintaining all key compliance databases, reports, SOPs and records updated.
• Responsible for implementing all compliance related SOP’s.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders—e.g., HR, Legal, Internal Audit, Finance, Plant teams and other business functions.
• Support with Internal Audit, periodically assess the Program or components of the for the market. Develop and implement with business teams’ appropriate recommendations.
• Support in all compliance remediation with appropriate stakeholders.
• Manage day-to-day operation of the Company’s compliance management portal.
• Support on any other Compliance projects or initiatives
• Drive the company’s GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) Framework
• Responsible for the domestic & international trademark portfolio of the company which includes new registrations, renewals, oppositions, trademarks dashboard, coordinating with stakeholders, advise on infringement/passing off cases etc.
• Set up ESG monitoring system
