• Robust knowledge of GST and responsible for GST compliance with filing of GST returns on a timely basis.
• Identify/Suggest alternative solutions strategy to ensure that there is minimal leakage of Indirect taxes
• Monthly input reconciliation with GSTR-2A/2B and availing the input tax credit in line with GST Provisions.
• Preparation of submission for any notices, inquiries, and assessments under GST and handling audits/assessments conducted by departments.
• GST TDS/ Input refund working.
• Knowledge of E-way bills and ensure the proper raising of e-way bills.
• Preparation of MIS related to GST compliance for Management discussion.
• Responsible for tax compliance involving tax provisions, advance tax computation and payments, filing of Income tax returns, TDS & TCS returns, and Tax audit reports.
• TDS Receivable and TCS receivable - reconciliation with 26AS vs books vs refund received from the department.
• Applying for LDC certificates and ensuring LDC benefits are given by following them up.
• Updates the HOD proactively on various work-related issues.
• Advising & implementing any relevant tax changes and implementing changes in the ERP system for the introduction of new GST, TDS/TCS provisions or amendments if any
