An exciting opportunity exists for a fixed term full time Design and Planning Engineer to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate based within the Isaac Region.
Reporting to the Manager Infrastructure Planning and Technical Services, the Design and Planning Engineer position provides high level engineering expertise in development assessments, operational works, coordination of Engineering and Infrastructure design programs and other engineering matters as directed by the Manager. These matters may include providing specialist engineering advice to clients, reviewing and auditing development works for compliance, providing development and training to the Graduate Engineer, and much more!
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
Demonstrated minimum five (5) years’ postgraduate engineering experience
RPEQ Certification or willingness to obtain (desirable)
The ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence

Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday
Fixed term, full time
5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
Up to 14% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
