Job Purpose

The Microservices Developer will design, develop, test, automate and maintain scalable microservices architectures that support our applications and services. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, high performance, and reliability of microservices. The developer will leverage modern technologies and best practices to enhance system efficiency and contribute to the overall success of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop solutions using defined coding, documentation and configuration management techniques and technologies
• Design, test and implement the software development methodology in an agile environment
• Work with Product Owners and team members to estimate development effort for User Stories/Features
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms, proactively improving the quality of our offerings
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business/product colleagues, and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement
• Work with Service Delivery / Support to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Build a team environment where team members feel safe to ask any question, raise any idea, state a problem

Qualifications & Experience
• B.E./B.Tech/MCA with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Preferably in Finance / wealth management.

Key Skills

To be successful in this role, your background and experience will include:
• Must have -Hands on experience in React, Java, SQL, Micronaut/Spring Boot/Quarkas, JPA/Hibernate, Groovy Grails, Kafka, Git.
• Kafka, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
• Open to testing own code without relying on functional testers for quality code delivery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and self-learning skills
• Successful track record of developing products within deadlines
• Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
