The role will be based primarily remotely.The RoleIn this role you will be working remotely alongside our Fiji, India, Australia, and NZ-based teams to provide exceptional support to our growing client base.Key Responsibilities:· Complete financial statement reviews, providing feedback internally within our Accounting Practice Support team to ensure delivery of outcomes to clients in a timely and accurate manner.· Reviewing income tax returns for a variety of different entities – companies, trusts, LTC’s, individuals etc
and ensuring all supporting schedules are included.· Onboard new Clients and complete remedial accounting/compliance work, ensuring SLA deliveries are met.· Verifying financial statements, ledgers, and accounts, identifying discrepancies, and making corrections where appropriate or escalating internally if required.· Reviewing Xero financials report packs, amending as required.· Provide back up support to Admin Army's bookkeeping team and clients.· Collaborate with the team to work on various accounting platforms.· Work with the Admin Army team to achieve all client deliverables.· A good understanding of data integrity.· Target-oriented and output drove.Technical and Interpersonal Skills· The ability to produce accurate financial reports.· Technical knowledge and understanding of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero or MYOB.· Solid understanding of New Zealand reporting framework and tax legislation and ability to apply tax concepts.· The ability to pull together information from multiple sources and create a cohesive and understandable work paper.· Discretion is necessary as there is often extremely sensitive information and figures discussed.· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills - via Email, Phone and Video meeting.· Strong computer literacy and familiarity using the Microsoft Suite of products, especially excel.· Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple-tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in our fast-paced environment.· The ability to work to strict time constraints and prioritize work.· The ability to critique processes and proactively provide suggestions for improvement
