Job Description

What your day could look like

As a Dietitian, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals and families across our region with safe, evidence-informed nutrition care. Working alongside dedicated colleagues, you'll contribute to better health outcomes and deliver services that strengthen community wellbeing.

Every day, you'll contribute by:
Providing high-quality nutrition care that supports patients to achieve meaningful health outcomes.

Shaping service quality through involvement in improvement initiatives, research, and clinical education.
Sharing your expertise with students, peers, and community partners to enhance knowledge and practice.

Let's talk about you!

You're someone who blends clinical skill with genuine compassion, bringing integrity and curiosity to every interaction. You thrive in a role where your guidance empowers others, and you value the dignity of every person you support. You take pride in helping people navigate their health journey and contributing to a service that truly matters.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics, with eligibility for accredited professional membership.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work confidently within multidisciplinary environments.
Commitment to quality practice, continuous learning, and delivering evidence-informed care.
A valid driver licence and readiness to travel within the region.

You'll stand out if you have rural or regional healthcare experience and/or further professional development such as postgraduate study or specialty training.

Most importantly, you bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation, and courage to the way you work, values that shape the care we provide every day. Together, your impact will help build healthier futures across our communities.
