What are we hiring for?
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Marketing Intern, you will play a crucial role in expanding our brand presence and driving our social media and direct marketing initiatives. You'll have the unique opportunity to work closely with a dynamic and passionate team of professionals. This position will give you hands-on experience in the startup world and allow you to contribute your innovative ideas to our marketing strategies.
This internship will help you gain practical knowledge of the following:
Latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices.
Exposure in management of social media accounts by creating and scheduling engaging content, monitoring comments and messages, and engaging with the online community.
Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and potential opportunities.
Work closely with the marketing team to plan and implement comprehensive outreach strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness, expanding the target audience, and fostering engagement with our products or services.
Identify target audience and stakeholders: Conduct thorough research to identify key target audience segments and stakeholders relevant to our industry. Analyse their needs, preferences, and behaviours to inform effective outreach strategies.
Track and analyse engagement metrics, such as social media interactions, website traffic, email open rates, and event participation. Provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis to optimise outreach strategies and improve engagement.
Desired Candidate’s Profile
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for crafting compelling content and engaging with diverse audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and customers.
• Solid understanding of marketing principles and concepts, with a specific interest in outreach, community engagement, or customer relationship management.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube), email marketing tools, content management systems, and data analytics. Preferable has an active social media profile.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative outreach ideas and initiatives.
