An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Systems Administrator to join Council’s Digital Enterprise Solutions team, working alongside Council’s Digital Technology and Innovation Branch, you will provide Enterprise level IT digital content design, management, and system support to the Council.
This is a great opportunity for a Digital Systems professional to work across Council’s ERP, HR, Strategic Planning, CMS, Community, Building and Document Management platforms.

Essential:
Tertiary qualifications in an Information Systems related discipline and/or relevant industry experience
Experience in administration, and configuration Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online/MS Teams.
Experience with management of digital channels including websites, portals, payment gateways and related Content Management Systems (CMS) is a key requirement of the role.
Demonstrated expertise and experience in web and cloud technologies including scripting, maintenance of styles, formats, standards, links and indexes as well as a practical understanding of application development life cycle and associated processes.
Good understanding of mobile device technologies including operating systems and mobile application deployment.
Excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex problems in a way stakeholders can understand.
Knowledge of privacy and security standards in the context of digital applications/platforms.
Superior analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
Desirable:
Previous Local Government experience administering and supporting digital systems.
Experience in working within an Agile environment with a good understanding of User Story methodologies.
Experience in working with Micro Focus Content Manager.
Technical knowledge in API design, development and microservices architecture.
Experience in developing solutions utilising Microsoft’s Power Platform, Relevant experience, and industry certifications in ITIL, Change and Project Management.
To meet Council’s WHS requirements and in accordance with Council’s Covid-1+ Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-1+ or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication. If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate, will be based on operational needs.
