Job Summary:
The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting through the collaboration with business operations and corporate accounting, and supervision of a team of finance professionals. This role will spearhead efforts to drive operational excellence in financial planning and analysis in partnership with Controller and CFO.
Essential Functions:
• Deliver forward-looking insights and analysis to improve business decision making.
• Deliver accurate and timely month-end results to management.
• Develop financial forecasts and in support of company budgeting and forecasting process.
• Analyze business unit performance to plan/forecast and recommend appropriate actions to ensure financial targets are met.
• Lead preparation of financial components of monthly and quarterly management presentations.
• Evaluate strategies and goals of the Company to effectively monitor progress.
• Oversee cash reporting and liquidity forecasting process.
• Ensure compliance with lender reporting requirements.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to improve reporting, planning, and analysis capabilities.
• Execute special projects assigned by the Controller, CFO, or department heads.
Minimum Requirements:
Specific Job Skills:
• Demonstrated experience leading finance teams to achieve department objectives.
• Expertise in a variety of operational and accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Expertise in using financial planning and business intelligence tools.
• Excellent business acumen and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proven commitment to providing excellent customer service within all dimensions of the job duties on a consistent basis.
• Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge to meet job expectations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; MBA preferred.
Experience:
• A minimum of 10 years of accounting and financial analysis experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting operations and GAAP.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and/or reporting; treasury experience a plus.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of both internal and external sources.
