Location: London

Salary: London minimum £35,2+0 per annum

Working Patterns: Flexible working, Full-time, Job share, Part-time

Person Specification:
• Proven analytical experience, including a track record in the practical application of analysis or research with an in-depth knowledge of data sources
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex analysis to non-specialists and contribute effectively to stakeholders.
• Ability to deliver analysis outputs to tight deadlines contributing to statistical production
• Experience of taking the leading role in a team, with the ability to overcome challenges and ensure delivery of quality business outcomes

The Central Government Sales Director will join a collaborative team who are looking to build on current relationships but also build new ones too. This position and team is central to the growth of our UK Government sector team. Working with Solution Engineering, Product, Marketing, Delivery and Customer success teams, you will be responsible for executing the sales go-to-market strategy, identifying new opportunities, building our pipeline, winning new deals and meeting company targets.

What You'll Be Doing.

Typical responsibilities include working with our Head of UK Public Sector and the Director of Government Solutions to define and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the UK Central Government Sector; consistently delivering against sales targets and contributing to the overall growth of the business. Your role will be a combination of hunting and farming, we have a great pipeline that needs nurturing, but we also require someone with the hunting mentality to go after new logos.

You will tasked with bringing together people from different teams. You will work with Solutions Engineers, Marketing, Delivery, Solution Success and many other areas.

Requirements

What you'll bring.
• A good understanding of the Government Sector issues and ability to ‘advise and solutionize' with the customer through a consultative sales-based approach
• A track record of positioning and selling Enterprise software either directly or as part of an ecosystem.
• Experience of building partnerships across System Integrators, Cloud platform providers and Consultancy organizations
• A good understanding of Public Sector operational and buying processes
• Experience nurturing accounts and identifying cross sell and upsell opportunities with existing clients
• Determination to succeed in challenging circumstances.
• Ability to integrate into effective sales teams and lead opportunities.
• Existing relationships within the UK Central Government
• Expertise working and solution selling within the UK Central Government
• Ability to be an independent decision-maker but equally is inclusive when evaluating options
• Ambitious and energetic with strong inter-personal skills
• Strong commercial and entrepreneurial qualities
• Good team player, capable of delivering results in less than perfect circumstances
• Ability to support market changes, flagging these early and reacting effectively and positively
• Ability to plan for the future
