The ICC family of companies delivers home solutions for its builder and retail customer, including flooring, cabinets, countertops and paint in Indiana. We are searching for a qualified Director of Finance for an immediate need. Reporting to the CFO, this individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial planning and accounting team leadership and will contribute to the overall growth and success of the company. They will lead an accounting team and be responsible for financial planning & reporting, banking and all key financial functions with the potential to advance to the corporate leadership level of the company.
Direct Hire – Base salary + bonus – 100% in onsite - limited travel – Must Reside in the Indianapolis Metro Area
What you will do:
• Responsible for proactively monitoring, driving, and reporting the financial performance of the business in accordance with GAAP and external lender requirements.
• Overseeing company accounting and preparing and presenting month-end financials and reporting packages for owners, internal leadership and external entities.
• Driving financial performance through analytics, pricing and cost management support.
• Managing cash including the monitoring of receivables, complying with debt covenants, and paying vendors on time.
• Enabling an infrastructure for growth by enhancing visibility, driving disciplined routines and streamlining processes across all functions of the business.
• Partner with the CEO and Leadership team on company-wide initiatives and daily execution.
• Leading and driving efficiency initiatives across the organization, while also directly supporting & partnering with the CEO and Leadership team.
• Managing Annual Budget and Planning Process, including deployment of financial targets and tracking execution.
• Preparing detailed financial models, quantitative and qualitative analyses with strong focus on commercial analytics.
• Own and lead compensation strategy and processes including employee bonus programs, sales commission and payroll processing.
• Managing banking and lender relationships, including required reports and fraud prevention.
• Developing and managing new financial systems, policies and processes to increase visibility, drive cost-reduction and to enhance operating efficiencies across all departments in the business.
• Preparing owner presentations, conducting ad hoc analysis and project updates on top priority strategic initiatives.
• Presenting financial results at monthly senior leadership meetings, including risks, opportunities, and recommendations to improve and manage financial performance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least two years in a Financial Planning & Reporting role
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel
